|NEW! Easy Returns, exclusively at KAI. We understand the returns/exchange process can be complicated, especially for imported or custom products. Therefore we feel it's important to lay-out a clear, easy to understand policy with fair terms and reasonable requirements to help make your purchasing decision as easy as possible.
If you are not satisfied with your purchase, you may return the item within 40 days of delivery of your order. There will be no restocking fee if the item you received was incorrect (ie: shipment error) otherwise a minimum 10% restocking fee will apply. The following rules apply:
Please note: If the return of an item was caused by an error on our part we will either issue a pre-paid return label (Lower 48 U.S states only) or reimburse the return shipment cost once the product is received back in acceptable condition (acceptable reimbursable returns services apply, additional information will be supplied with RMA acceptance).
- Products must be in original packaging and in a new and resalable condition.
- Any product that was used or fully/partially installed is non-returnable.
- Shipping Fees are non-refundable.
- All returns must be made via our Return Procedure with a valid RMA.
- There are few non-returnable products & services that are listed in section below.
- Order cancellations can only be requested prior to shipment or in some cases, prior to the start of the manufacturing or painting process.
To return a product you must first request a Return Merchandise Authorization (RMA). You may request an RMA using the following method:

Defective, Damaged, or Incorrect Products:
If your product(s) arrive defective, damaged, incorrect or incomplete, you must contact our customer service department within 24-72 hours of package receipt to report the issue. Please do not attempt to use or install the part! We will send you a replacement part and provide you with a prepaid return label to return the defective part (Lower 48 states). Product(s) must be returned to us within 30 days. If the damage was caused by a shipping courier, we will schedule a damage pick up or process insurance claim with the courier. In most cases replacement parts will only be sent once the original shipment has been received back to our facility and inspected thoroughly. Please allow 24-72 hours for processing/inspection once the package has been accepted/signed for by an employee at our facility.
Although we take extra special precaution.. acrylic or ABS visors are fragile and we understand receiving visors damaged is never fun. Therefore (in most cases) if you receive a window visor damaged we will ship a replacement piece(s) to you with no questions asked.
Order Cancellations must be received within 24-72 hours of order placement, unless an excessive amount of time as elapsed due to unforeseen issues. NOTE: "excessive amount of time defined as at least 2 weeks beyond original provided ETA date" (term not applicable for special order/boat shipment items). Electrical/Lighting item cannot be cancelled once production as begun. Custom made/modified or Custom Painted items cannot be cancelled once the production or paint process has begun. Special order / boat shipment items cannot be cancelled once the product has been obtained on your behalf. Please understand the ETA's (Estimated Time of Arrival) quoted for all special order boat imported items are estimates based on the most current information. ETA's can change when dealing with imported boat shipment items. We do our best to supply accurate information with regard to special order/boat shipment items and are glad to provide updates upon request.
Non Returnable Products & Services:
The following products cannot be returned/exchanged due to manufacturer's policies or their made-to-order custom features:
Refunds & Credits:
- Electrical / Lighting Items (Including OE Modified Headlights and/or Taillights)
- Custom Painted Items (There is no warranty for custom painted items)
- Installed Product (no exceptions)
- Special Order Items (body kits, performance parts etc)
- Sale items within the deeply discounted 30% - 70% off section
- Boat Imported Items
- Eta Beta Wheels
After we accept your return, you will either be issued a store credit or refund (depending upon the terms of your RMA acceptance) via the same payment method as you had originally used to place the order (Credit Card, Paypal, Moneybookers, Google, Check). Refunds will be composed of the original purchase price minus shipping charges and credit card/Paypal processing fees. You will be sent an email or receive a telephone call confirming receipt of the return and your credit. Please allow an additional 5-7 days for the credit to appear on your account.
Korean Auto Imports will not refund any labor charges or installation fees under any conditions. Korean Auto Imports will not offer reimbursement for any damage due to installation or any other use of a product.
If damage to an item is discovered after installation (or after the item is deemed "used") we may offer replacement part(s) at a discounted price. This term is dependent upon the exact item(s) in question (ie; whether or not the manufacturer offers single replacement parts). Korean Auto Imports is not liable for the replacement of damage discovered after installation (also applies toward items with protective coatings). Please be sure to inspect all items thoroughly prior to installation to avoid issues with the return/exchange process.
